I have a question regarding the calibration of Red-Y mass flow controllers (MFCs), employed in Recordum dynamic calibrators, model AirQrate.
For the calibration of high-flow MFCs: should the zero air pump integrated into the equipment be used, or is it necessary to supply zero air from an external generator?
For low-flow MFCs: is it appropriate to use a zero air generator at 25 psi?
Regarding measurement units: should the calibration always be performed in Ln/min throughout the entire procedure, even when the equipment requires entering the flow setpoint in L/min?
Thank you in advance for your attention. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Fabio Figueroa Benítez
Dear Fabio,
the massflows must take out and send to the manufacturer to calibrate.
